Why the prices are what they are

Every price on this site is built up from a real material cost. Stock prices come off Home Depot and Lowe's own product pages for Denver stores, read on 2026-09-21, and the build time is charged at a stated shop rate. Nothing is a markup on a guess, and where we cannot cost something yet we say so rather than inventing a number.
